King Of The Hammers
King of the Hammers (KOH) is recognized as America’s toughest off-road event. The 200-plus-mile course combines off-road racing and rock crawling throughout Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, Calif. King of The Hammers features five races held throughout the week, including King of The Motos, the ULTRA4 vs. Rock Bouncer shootout, the KOH UTV race, the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge and the King of The Hammers.
Each competitor must complete the KOH course in less than 14 hours while passing through seven checkpoints and staying within 100 feet of the center line at all times. King of the Hammers drivers pilot a specific type of vehicle called Ultra 4. Ultra 4 vehicles are capable of speeds in excess of 100 mph, but still contain gear ratios worthy enough for rock crawling. Each vehicle is custom fabricated to each team. AMSOIL is proud to be the Official Oil of King of The Hammers.
