The 2016 TORC Series presented by AMSOIL season wraps up Sept. 2-4 with a full schedule of racing at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in Crandon, Wis. Defending Pro 4×4 and Pro 2wd champion C.J. Greaves leads the points standings in both classes, while Team AMSOIL drivers Scott Douglas and Chad Hord hold third and fourth respectively in the Pro 4×4 points standings and teammate Brad Lovell holds third in the Pro 2wd class. Each will be looking to put some pressure on Greaves and finish the season strong. The weekend wraps up with the AMSOIL Cup race, where defending champion Greaves will seek his second AMSOIL Cup in a row against the top Pro 4×4 and Pro 2wd drivers in the sport. “Crandon’s the bad boy of off-road and everyone wants to be a part of it,” said Greaves. “Crandon brings in everyone because it’s just plain fast; you’re doing 100 miles per hour through Turn 1, sideways. And then there’s the whole scene, the crazy crowds, bands going on at night and the energy of tens of thousands of people going nuts.”
AMSOIL is the presenting sponsor and Exclusive Official Oil of the TORC Series and the title sponsor of the AMSOIL Cup.
