It will be an exciting weekend of snocross racing action as both the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association (CSRA) and East Coast Snocross kick off their seasons. CSRA racers will converge in St. Alexis Des-Monts, QC Jan. 22-24, where defending champion Lee Butler will begin his pursuit of another championship. Meanwhile, East Coast Snocross will be in action Jan. 23-24 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Plattsburgh, N.Y., where five-time Pro champion Danny Poirier will begin his quest to defend his title.
“We’ve had a lot going on in recent weeks behind the scenes, but now it’s time to build a great track at the Fairgrounds and go racing,” said East Coast Snocross series owner Kurt Gagne. “We’ve put some exciting new programs in place, including the Sunoco Sunday Holeshot award and a new class for Snow Bikes. Now we’ll go to work to promote our new partners and host what I think will be an exciting season from start to finish. I hope folks in the Champlain Valley will join us for what could be the biggest opener in years.”
