Ever notice a motocross racer fly through the air, doubling or even tripling a jump sideways? Looks pretty sweet, doesn’t it? But it’s not always for looks. Racers in the Monster Energy Supercross Series will scrub over jumps to reduce hang time and improve speed. You do so by “scrubbing” off height by throwing your bike parallel to the dirt.
